Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Service Specialist to support building automation systems in the greater Birmingham, AL area from the Pelham branch. You will perform service maintenance, on-call support, and project tasks to help clients save energy and money while advancing sustainable environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on service on various automation systems, collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to safety standards, and after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Ability and willingness to work in ladders, scaffolds, ducts, and other confined spaces.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
• Maintain tools and test equipment and complete service ticket documentation.
• Support after-hours on-call rotations and perform on-site repairs as needed.
• Provide customer training and instructions on proper system operation.
• Identify system discrepancies and assist in pricing repairs/upgrades; perform system checkout and startup on projects.
• Work overtime when needed and participate in on-site job turnover.
