Job summary

Arhaus Upholstery in Conover, NC is seeking a Customer Service Expeditor to track and ship UPS packages daily and support parts order processing. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and clear communication, with duties including reporting delays and maintaining shipping records.

• Update system with correct shipping information.
• Provide reports/lists of missing items to Purchasing.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area and prepare nightly reports.

POSITION DETAILS

Duties And Responsibilities

The Customer Service Expeditor will: ensure weekly parts orders are being completed in a timely manor, and correctly; follow up with department supervisors regarding part orders needed; report any delays for part orders to Customer Service; provide reports / lists of missing items to Purchasing to be ordered; prepare, package and ship all part orders; ship UPS packages daily; track packages; update system with correct shipping information; maintain an organized and clean work area and prepare nightly reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plan with concrete floors. Office environment as needed.

Computer experience.

Experience shipping items in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical & Enviromental Requirements

Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant that is heated and cooled.

Must have good vision.

Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe / close-heal shoes when required.

Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
