Job summary

Jacks Small Engines in Maryland is seeking a service technician to service and repair products promptly, safely, and profitably, while performing sales and related service with professionalism and reliability.

You will stay certified on all company products, assist customers, source parts, estimate repair costs, prepare quotes and invoices, and handle warranty claims, all while maintaining a neat, compliant work area and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least three years of related repair experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiar with basic PC use and diagnostic programs.

Responsibilities

• Repairs all products sold by the Company that customers bring in for repair.
• Maintain customer relations by providing timely updates.
• Stay informed and certified on products; explain operation to customers.
• Source parts and manage inventory to ensure availability.
• Estimate repair costs and prepare quotes and invoices.
• Submit warranty claims and ensure reimbursement.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; follow safety rules.
