In this fast-paced role, you will read schematics, perform repairs on generators and outdoor power equipment, test functionality, and keep precise repair records.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealership or service technician roles specializing in small engine repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of outdoor power equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals for troubleshooting.
• Willingness to maintain detailed repair records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on small engines, generators, and related machinery using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot problems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper operation and safety before returning it to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures followed.
