You will diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on outdoor power equipment, perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance, and communicate repair status clearly to customers. A safe, organized shop environment and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in small engine repair or a related mechanical field.
Ability to diagnose and repair 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.
Familiarity with brands such as Exmark, Hustler, Scag, Kawasaki, Briggs & Stratton, or Kohler is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines on outdoor power equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and generators.
Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, and preventative maintenance services.
Inspect and test equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
Order and replace defective parts, components, and assemblies.
Communicate repair status and recommendations clearly to customers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop.
Document service records and completed repair orders accurately.
