Job Description:

Provides expert understanding and assistance to brokers, potential members, and existing members in the sale of Individual Plans and Products. Collaborates with Enrollment and Billing Departments throughout the sales and renewal process to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Job Essentials

1. Trains and assists brokers with the sale of Individual Plan and Small Employer products, including explaining plans, products, rates, and options.
2. Assists and educates potential and existing members in selecting the most appropriate insurance plan, including making informed decisions on plan types and options, both on Marketplace and off.
3. Participates in various sales events, engaging professionally with brokers, customers, and departmental colleagues.
4. Manages a specific book of business and supports other Representatives' books as needed, communicating accurately and confidentially in accordance with HIPAA and internal guidelines.
5. Stays informed on legislative changes, healthcare reform, and their impact on the Market, assisting brokers and applicants accordingly.
6. Enters and updates data in the sales automation system accurately and promptly.
7. Maintains a monthly phone audit score of at least 93.5%.
8. Successfully completes all departmental testing requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience
• Two years of sales experience
• Basic proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of health insurance concepts and systems
• Familiarity with Facets or similar eligibility software
• Experience in health insurance industry
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with applicants and brokers
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills, capable of working under pressure
• Team player
• Strong customer service orientation

• Visual acuity for reading monitors and documents

The hourly rate ranges from $18.38 to $26.65, depending on experience.
