Job summary

Ridge Equipment Company is seeking a Small Cell Technician II to join our growing team in the MD/DC/VA area. This role focuses on safety, quality, and timely completion of site scopes including grounding, antennas, coax, fiber, and remote radio heads.

You'll perform elevated work, operate standard tools, and collaborate with third‑party QA services while adhering to OSHA and industry standards. Some night/weekend work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb extension ladders up to 30 ft.
• Must be able to drive and operate aerial lifts.
• Occasional night and weekend work required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Present a professional image to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform elevated work on small cell sites to repair and install equipment.
• Operate and adjust commonly used tools in the wireless industry.
• Install coax lines, category cables, and fiber cables inside and outside shelters.
• Work with third-party QA services to close out installations.
• Perform civil work including trenching, digging, and concrete work as needed.
• Supervisor may assign additional tasks.
