Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking an RF Installer/Technician to join the team working at a customer site in Washington, DC. You will lead installation, testing, and troubleshooting of RF systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include installing antennas, cabling, and grounding, operating RF test equipment, and supporting project milestones under the Team Lead. Local candidates with a valid background check are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in RF installation, telecom or field service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience with RF test and measurement tools.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and RF safety protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry 25 lbs; on-site physical work.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and secure RF antennas, cabling, and hardware.
• Perform RF testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation.
• Install grounding and surge protection per safety codes.
• Operate spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and meters.
• Ensure OSHA and FCC compliance and safety standards.
• Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to improve reliability.
