Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for the Small Cap team to drive the full cycle of M&A transactions, from pitches to client presentations.

You will partner with Analysts and Associates, contribute to financial models, and support senior bankers in executing deals. The role offers exposure to transactions across business services and consumer sectors, frequent travel, and a rigorous training program designed to develop leadership and execution skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience in an investment banking front office, or related, role with a focus on M&A.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Impeccable communication skills with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions.
• Interact with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
• Defining and reviewing detailed valuation analyses (DCF, comps, LBOs).
• Defining, guiding and reviewing financial analyses during pitches and M&A transactions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Analysts.
