LiftFund seeks a Loan Consultant to advance its mission by guiding small business owners through the loan application process. You will collect, verify, and assemble loan packages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to move applications from start to close.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to financial inclusion across LiftFund’s markets. You will support borrowers and ensure timely processing and compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in financial analysis, loan processing, or a similar role.
• Two years of experience using CRM platforms or loan systems.
• Strong computer proficiency; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Experience with SBA, EDA, or other government loan programs is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active pipeline of loan applications with high responsiveness to client needs.
• Review incoming applications for accuracy and completeness; identify gaps.
• Collect, verify, and package required documentation per policies.
• Collaborate with BDOs, underwriters, and closers for seamless processing.
• Conduct loan closings and ensure disbursement requirements are met.
• Maintain up-to-date records in CRM and loan management systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Report loan pipeline status and processing timelines to supervisors.
