Job summary

U.S. Bank in Louisville, KY seeks a results-driven business banking professional to provide comprehensive financial solutions to small businesses with revenues between $500K and $2.5M.

You will deepen relationships through routine calling and prospecting while leveraging digital tools and human connections. The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of customer service or consultative sales, solid knowledge of banking operations, and the ability to work at a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically three or more years of customer service, consultative sales and/or prospecting experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
• Understanding of banking operations, product knowledge, sales, new business development, customer service/relations, and community relations
• Basic knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey business recommendations effectively
• Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location five days per week
• Ability to drive two or more hours per week
• Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service in accordance with U.S. Bank Core Values
• Provide comprehensive financial solutions to small businesses with annual revenues between $500K and $2.5 million
• Deepen existing customer relationships through routine calling
• Develop new relationship opportunities through business development activities
• Combine digital tools with human connections to offer solutions to business customers
• Conduct outside prospecting and sales activities to grow revenue and achieve assigned financial targets and growth goals
• Open accounts and identify, open, service, and maintain product solutions and accounts
• Develop internal and external relationships
• Collaborate with branch partners, centers of influence, clients, and other business line partners
• Refer clients to Business Banking and/or other U.S. Bancorp areas for additional needs
