Job summary

Coconino Community College in Page or Flagstaff seeks a Small Business Advisor within the SBDC to provide business advising services across the county. This grant-funded role requires traveling throughout Coconino County.

Under the SBDC Director, you will analyze data, help with business plans and financial statements, mentor clients, and connect them with resources and loan packaging opportunities. You will develop and deliver workshops, promote the SBDC mission, and maintain accurate advising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or related field.
• 2+ years of directly related experience (business/industry management or small business ownership).
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Advisor preferred; SBA/AZ SBDC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise small business clients and provide tailored business assistance across finance, marketing, and operations.
• Develop business plans, financial packages, and pro forma cash flow statements.
• Mentor clients on marketing plans, expansion, and access to capital.
• Maintain advising data in the IC system and follow up to track progress.
• Plan and deliver workshops and events aligned with county needs and SBDC objectives.
• Promote the mission of the SBDC and CCC in outreach activities.
