Job summary

Mohave Community College's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) seeks a proactive Program Coordinator to keep programs moving, engage clients, and strengthen ties with the business community in Kingman, AZ. You'll coordinate workshops, manage intake, assist with marketing materials, data entry, and reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across activities.

Excellent organizational and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Assoc. Degree/Vocational or technical training in Office Management, Business and/or Marketing is required.
• One (1) or more years of related experience providing technology and office support is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and effectively use new software and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates administrative and operational functions for the SBDC, including scheduling, records management, and general program support.
• Assist Director with preparing reports, requisitions, purchase orders, and grant/compliance materials.
• Tracks program budgets, event costs, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinates logistics for client workshops and events, including planning, registration, materials.
• Acts as liaison among clients, staff, and partners to ensure clear communication and positive relationships.
• Maintains and distributes marketing materials for programs and events, tracks attendance and surveys.
• Monitors departmental files, supplies, and resources to ensure efficient workflow.
• Requests IT, facilities, purchasing, or logistics support to resolve issues and keep Center operations running.
• Attends SBDC workshops and community partner activities to support operations.
• Applies critical thinking to evaluate situations and support continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
