Job summary

PennWest University SBDC in Clarion seeks a Business Consultant (Grant Funded Program Coordinator 2) to provide advisory services to pre-venture and existing business owners across planning, financing, marketing, and growth initiatives. The position requires strong financial acumen, CRM experience (Neoserra), and the ability to mentor students while delivering workshops and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field and two years of relevant work experience
• Master’s Degree and three years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Travel to outreach locations within the SBDC service area and to state and national training events
• Conduct initial client interviews and manage client caseload
• Coordinate and assign work to graduate and undergraduate students
• Capture and report client and milestone information into Neoserra CRM
• Develop and deliver workshops and seminars for pre-venture and existing businesses
• Assist clients in preparing loan proposals and financial projections
• Coordinate referrals to programs and external organizations
• Represent the PennWest University SBDC in network activities and community outreach
