Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Small Business Banking team in San Diego. You will review new account applications, perform due diligence for BSA/AML compliance, and help route requests to Relationship Managers to enhance the client experience.

As the Small Business Banking SME, you will contribute to process improvements and collaborate with internal partners to meet sales goals while servicing existing customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma
• 1+ year experience in financial services in a support/processing capacity

Responsibilities

• Collect and review new account applications and documentation required to determine if they are within the Bank's risk tolerance guidelines and assign applications to Relationship Managers as appropriate.
• Perform due diligence on new small business deposit account applications, to assess risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Manage the external email inbox for Small Business Banking and resolve/respond as needed and or assign the email to the Relationship Manager for the relationship.
• Act as the Small Business Banking SME to make recommendations and lead procedural and process enhancement initiatives for the group.
