Job summary

Axos Bank in San Diego, CA is seeking a Small Business Banking support professional to help reach sales goals and service existing customers in a fast-paced environment. You will collect applications, coordinate with Relationship Managers, and perform due diligence to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role also includes managing the inbound email inbox, handling service cases, and acting as a SME to drive process improvements within the team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ year experience in financial services in a support/processing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review new account applications and documentation required to determine if they are within risk tolerance.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and collaborate with internal partners to ensure exceptional client experience.
• Perform due diligence on new small business deposit account applications to assess risk and ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
• Manage the external email inbox for Small Business Banking and respond or route to the Relationship Manager.
• Handle inbound customer service cases with timely responses and resolutions.
• Act as the Small Business Banking SME to lead process improvement initiatives.
