Job summary

First Financial Bank seeks a Small Business Specialist I within the Consumer Bank to attract, retain, and grow core small business relationships by offering deposit, loan, and treasury solutions and serving as a trusted advisor.

You will develop district and regional plans, engage with retail teams, coordinate loan closings, and refer clients to partners, while ensuring compliance with BSA, CRA and related policies.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years client experience in Retail Banking and/or financial services with business owners.
• 3–4 years sales and service experience achieving sales/service goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales preferred.
• Familiarity with consumer and small business credit.
• Strong consultative, needs-based selling abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute consumer bank strategies to attract, retain and grow small business relationships.
• Develop district/region plans and lead initiatives to achieve production and growth goals.
• Manage and deepen client relationships with a focus on deposits, loans and treasury needs.
• Coordinate loan origination, closings, and referrals to bank partners.
• Provide coaching to teams and act as liaison for small business clients.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, CRA, HMDA and related policies.
