First Financial Bank is seeking a Business Specialist I in the Orland Park area to develop and manage a profitable small business banking portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor, identify client needs, and coordinate deposit, loan, and treasury solutions while referring to partner products as needed.

As part of the Small Business Segment, you will support district and region leadership, execute marketing and sales initiatives, and build strong client relationships through proactive outreach

Qualifikationen

• 3-4 years client experience in Retail Banking and/or in the financial services industry with experience working with business owners.
• 3-4 years sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in retail environment or in a retail or business banking role within First Financial.
• Familiarity with consumer and small business credit.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational, managerial and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience combination of education and work experience in sales preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develops and implements strategies/plans to engage districts and markets, establishes behaviors and routines to achieve success in the small business segment, achieving established production and growth goals.
• Manage, deepen and grow client relationships with a primary focus on business relationships with credit and deposit exposure assigned to the small business segment.
• Initiate and maintain client/contact through timely and relevant contact strategy via banking center interactions, telemarketing, digital channels, and events.
• Coordinate new loan origination requests, conduct loan closings, open Small Business Banking deposit accounts, and refer other Bank products as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance within the small business segment to improve program success and regional results.
