Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related area.
• Three years of experience in marketing, business, finance, or related field.
• Experience running professional seminars and networking events.
• Sales, marketing, contracts, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management with marketing orientation.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial, customer-focused with ability to sell and negotiate to mutual goals.
• Ability to collaborate with college and community with cultural competence.
• Commitment to college values of respect and inclusion, sustainability, integrity, collaboration, humor and well-being, innovation, and quality.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-depth consultation in marketing, web design, social media, management, finance and accounting, regulation and taxation, production and operations, office automation and computers, and other areas to promote small business growth.
• Develop or analyze business plans and loan strategies; build a referral network for client follow-up.
• Liaise with financial institutions, economic development groups, lending sources, and chambers of commerce.
• Develop training proposals; define deliverables and costs; oversee training programs; manage contract negotiations with external trainers.
• Conduct and/or facilitate workshops and coordinate entrepreneurial activities, including curriculum and seminars.
• Develop and maintain client control records following policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance in alternative financing such as CDCs and revolving loan funds.
• Provide technical assistance on state and federal initiatives like SBA loan processes and SBIR.
• Conduct needs assessments of district businesses and synthesize strategic planning.
• Manage a pool of business clients with CRM activity and robust reporting.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
