Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related area required.
• Three years of experience in marketing, business, finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of running professional seminars and networking events.
• Demonstrated sales, marketing, contract writing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities; marketing orientation.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication; good platform/instructional skills.
• Ability to sell, negotiate, and achieve mutual goals with clients.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and communities; culturally competent.
• Commitment to the college’s values of respect, inclusion, sustainability, integrity, collaboration, and quality.

Aufgaben

• Meet with small business owners and prospective owners to gather information and provide recommendations.
• Develop or analyze business plans and loan structuring strategies; build referral networks.
• Liaise with financial institutions, economic development groups, lenders, and chambers of commerce.
• Develop training proposals, deliverables, costs, and presentations; oversee training programs.
• Monitor and manage contract negotiations with external consultants and trainers; ensure quality.
• Coordinate workshops and entrepreneurial activities; develop curricula and seminars.
• Maintain client control records per policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance on alternative financing and SBA loan processes.
• Offer guidance on state and federal initiatives like modernization and revolving loan funds.
• Conduct needs assessments using focus groups, surveys, and field research to refine planning.
• Manage a pool of clients and maintain CRM activity and reporting of outcomes.
