Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden is seeking Client Coaches for the School of Business Small Business Development Center (RSBDC) to support the growth and success of small businesses throughout the region. This role focuses on providing high-quality advising, training, and outreach services while contributing to the Center's broader mission, partnerships, and performance goals.

This is a grant-funded, part-time position contingent upon continued funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality advising and one-on-one counseling to small business clients.
• Develop and deliver group trainings and webinars.
• Collaborate with NJSBDC counselors to support clients.
• Monitor trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the assigned area.
• Deliver on metrics for state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and align program efforts with strategic goals.
• Build relationships with statewide small business stakeholders.
• Track and report outreach and consulting activities following guidelines.
