Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a self-motivated plant operator responsible for the slaking process quality and timing, supervising slurry distribution, and performing preventative maintenance and quality control testing of slurry. This role requires independent work and adherence to safety regulations.

You will operate slurry equipment, unload materials, and support maintenance activities with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS/GED diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Must have current Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Able to work seven days a week, including long shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and complete necessary paperwork timely.
• Maintain slurry system, perform quality checks on slurry.
• Unload rail cars/trucks and mix lime with water as required.
• Operate front-end loader and other plant equipment for cleanup and maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve site issues.
