Lhoist North America in Ohio seeks a self-motivated operator responsible for the slaking process quality and timing, supervising the proper distribution of slurry and preventative maintenance of the slurry system.

The role requires reading and writing English, willingness to work 12–14 hour shifts seven days a week, and readiness for overtime, with a focus on safety, reliability, and effective communication with supervision and peers.

Qualifications

• HS/GED diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Must read and write English.
• Must be able to operate light to heavy equipment.
• Must be available for out-of-town work as needed.

Responsabilités

• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Ensure paperwork (pre-shift, PMs, reports) is accurate and submitted timely.
• Report potential operational or safety problems to supervision.
• Perform general plant cleanup and operate relevant equipment.
• Unload rail cars/trucks and mix lime with water per ratios.
• Assist maintenance and fill vacancies for routine duties.
