Job summary

Lhoist North America is hiring for a role involving the slaking process, quality control, and on-site maintenance. You will oversee proper slurry distribution, perform preventative maintenance, and resolve issues with local contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

The position requires a strong mechanical background, safety focus, and the ability to work long hours, including travel to other sites. A HS/GED diploma and 2 years of heavy industrial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have HS/GED diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of heavy industrial experience.
• Able to work seven days a week with 12–14 hour days.
• Must be able to travel to other operating sites as needed.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Ensure paperwork (pre-shift, PMs, reports) is accurate and submitted on time.
• Report safety or operational problems to supervision.
• Perform work neatly and safely per regulations.
• Clean up in all plant areas and at off-site jobs.
• Operate front-end loader and other equipment.
