Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students’ communication goals in a school setting near Red Oak, TX. This full-time maternity coverage runs January through mid-March, offering meaningful hands-on work within a close-knit educational team.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy activities under supervision, monitoring progress, collaborating with SLPs and teachers, and maintaining student confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license or eligibility to practice.
• Experience in schools or with pediatric clients preferred.
• Strong understanding of speech and language development.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech and language therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
• Work directly with students to support goals, individually and in small groups.
• Track and document student performance and session outcomes.
• Assist the supervising SLP with materials preparation and scheduling.
• Communicate progress to SLP, teachers, and families when appropriate.
• Participate in school-based meetings and professional development.
