Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a 13-week assignment in Royse City, Texas. The role covers 37.5 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts under supervision by an SLP-CCC.

This is a local contract position. Required qualifications include active Texas SLPA license if required, BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience; school-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state
• American Heart Association BLS
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• SLPA will collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner
