Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY for a SNF setting in Athens, GA. The role offers up to $130,000 annually, base salary dependent on experience, and a $8,000 sign-on bonus.

The position emphasizes patient outcomes, collaboration, and professional development. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders, complete assessments, and develop individualized plans while maintaining documentation and working

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
