Job summary

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist to improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and quality of life for SNF patients in Lithonia. This role offers competitive compensation up to $130,000 annually and a supportive, collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
