Job summary

PruittHealth seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY to join our Brookhaven SNF team in Atlanta. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current SLP licensure in the practicing state.
• CFY candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.

Education

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice

Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable
