PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to improve patients' communication, cognition, and swallowing functions in a SNF setting at Lithonia. The role offers competitive compensation up to $130,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits and a collaborative clinical culture.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders; creating individualized plans; and coordinating with the care team to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.

Formation

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice

Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable

Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care
