PruittHealth is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for SNF Covington, GA. Location at 4148 Carroll Street SW, Covington. Roles include evaluating and treating speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders with tailored plans.

We offer a compensation up to $130,000 annually, plus sign-on bonus up to $8,000, with full-time, part-time or PRN schedules and comprehensive benefits in a collaborative post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
• Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
