Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team in Savannah, GA. Provide expert, patient-centered care across home visits.

This PRN role offers 1:1 patient care, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions.
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient’s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.
