Job summary

Synchrony in the US-OH-Zanesville area seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and therapy within a collaborative care setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology; Ohio licensure; CCC-SLP certification preferred; 0–1 year experience. Competitive weekly pay and benefits start after the first month.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or required; Ohio licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals.
• Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing abilities across articulation, language, voice, fluency, and feeding.
• Educate patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and progress strategies.
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
