Adept Nursing & Rehab of South Sioux City is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team in a skilled nursing facility setting. Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • CCC-SLP preferred or Clinical Fellow welcome to apply.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy to residents recovering from stroke or neurological conditions.
  • Assess and manage dysphagia and dietary modifications.
  • Document progress and maintain clinical records per regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy plans.
  • Participate in care planning meetings.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and treatment plans
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to patient-centered outcomes
