Job summary

Continental Springs in South Sioux City, NE, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a flexible part-time or per diem role in a subacute/skilled nursing setting.

You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders; develop treatment plans; provide dysphagia assessments; collaborate with interdisciplinary team; ensure timely documentation; the role offers competitive per diem compensation.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska SLP license or eligibility.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome; SNF rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
• Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment, including diet and swallowing recommendations
• Address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and functional speech deficits
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff to support carryover of therapy goals
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team in a flexible part-time or per diem role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
• Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment, including diet and swallowing recommendations
