Job summary

Continental Springs in South Sioux City, NE is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join an interdisciplinary rehab team in a subacute setting. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized plans.

CCC-SLP preferred; CFY welcome. Flexible scheduling with per diem opportunities, strong emphasis on collaboration and patient-centered care in a facility-based environment.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply; SNF rehab experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment with diet and swallowing recommendations.
• Address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and functional speech deficits.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff to support carryover of therapy goals.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication.

At Continental Springs, our rehab team is dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of function and quality of life in a subacute/skilled nursing setting. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team in a flexible part-time or per diem role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
• Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment, including diet and swallowing recommendations
• Address communication, cognitive-linguistic, and functional speech deficits
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff to support carryover of therapy goals
