Job summary

Greenwood Center for Rehab & Nursing in Lewistown, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver rehabilitative therapy for communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. You will assess, treat, and document progress for patients referred by the care team.

This role reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and requires ongoing compliance with regulatory and clinical practice standards, plus active PA licensure and ASHA CCCs.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Must be ASHA certified (CCC).
• Must have current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative therapy to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Document clinical progress with objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Education

Graduate of accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

ASHA certified (CCC)

Current Pennsylvania license

This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
