Job summary

Oak Hill Village is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team as a Per Diem (PRN) employee. The role focuses on providing rehabilitative therapy for communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders upon referral.

The clinician reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and will document progress with objective measures as part of regulated practice.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Must be ASHA certified (CCC).
• Must have current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania.
• One year experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.
• New Grads Welcome!

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
