Job summary

Therapy Care, Ltd. in Downers Grove, IL seeks a licensed or eligible speech-language pathologist to join our team.

We welcome clinical fellows and experienced clinicians to provide direct services to children in school and early intervention settings, with mentorship and collaboration at the core of our program. We offer flexible scheduling, part-time options, and opportunities to split time between school and early intervention settings.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of child’s speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on assessment findings.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to children with diverse communication needs using varied approaches (e.g., play-based).
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support a child’s success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
