Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for a contract position in a California school setting. You will work onsite with licensed SLPs, delivering direct and indirect speech-language services and maintaining thorough documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with supervising clinicians, professional development, and serving students within IEPs. Travel between district schools may be required; relocation or stipends may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related field, OR an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program.
• Current, active SLPA certification or license.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between school sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs, always maintaining professional integrity.
• Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs for guidance, supervision, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication strategies.
• Engage with students, staff, and families with sensitivity and professionalism, even during high-stress situations.
• Work exclusively onsite (virtual work is not offered for this assignment).
• May be required to travel between different schools within the district.
