Job summary

Expatiate Communications is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide educational speech therapy services to students with speech-language disorders. You will work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist to implement IEPs, assist with assessments, and support students using communication devices.

This role involves travel to school sites across California and occasionally to Pasadena for corporate meetings.

Qualifications

• Valid registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with the California SLP Board.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a certificate from an accredited SLPA program.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and helping students use augmented alternative communication devices and software.
• Document student progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
• Assist the SLP during student assessments and screenings.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials for teachers to use in the classroom.
• Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings.
• Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms.
