Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract role in a school setting. You will work closely with supervising SLPs and educators to deliver targeted therapy, helping students build essential communication skills for academics and social interaction.

Responsibilities include 1:1 and small-group sessions, data collection, and active participation in IEP meetings. A CA SLPA license is required, with a supportive team and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA license in California.
• Experience providing speech-language services to students, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Ability to follow therapy plans created by supervising SLPs and document progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans under supervising SLPs.
• Conduct therapy sessions individually or in small groups.
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and parent communication as needed.
• Support generalization of communication strategies within the classroom.
