Job summary

Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking an on-site technician to install, repair, and maintain electronic gaming equipment across slots and tables. You will troubleshoot at the component level, communicate issues to the team, and help ensure minimal downtime while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Pre-employment licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electronic gaming equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment to the component level.
• Communicate breakdowns and provide solutions to the team.
• Investigate variances and causes per policy.
• Investigate slot cheating, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Support Rivers Casino culture and innovation.
• Assist all departments in delivering excellent guest service.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify unethical or illegal behavior per standards.
• Participate in Self-Exclusion program as described.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
