Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a skilled slot technician to perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware under supervision. You will respond to floor calls, complete preventive maintenance, and develop competency toward processing repairs.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Thorough knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines.
One year of experience in slots or related field or graduate from slot repair school strongly preferred.
Able to work with hand tools and power tools.
Able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
Able to stoop, kneel, and crouch while repairing gaming machines.
Able to push and pull machines and maneuver weights up to 80 pounds.
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform immediate, periodic, and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware.
Repair and diagnose machine faults.
Isolate electronic faults at board level and refer to senior level slot technician.
Read, understand, and apply information in repair manuals and other materials.
Carry and effectively communicate by two-way radio.
Maintain a working knowledge of new slot products/equipment.
