PENN Entertainment is seeking a slot technician to maintain and repair slot machines, systems, and related equipment, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, and compliance. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose and fix technical problems, and prepare machines for play.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a technical degree is preferred, 1–2 years of experience with slot machines or in a technical field, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical or computer-related field or with slot machines.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and interpret manuals.
  • Proficiency in basic math and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must qualify for credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsabilités

  • Maintain and repair slot machines, slot systems, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair technical problems and perform routine maintenance.
  • Install, modify, and prepare slot machines for play.
  • Generate reports on slot performance and maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of slot machines, slot systems, and related equipment; peform routine maintenance on machines in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
  • Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with slot machines and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all slot machines and related equipment per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with ACSC slot system and the central control computer server system.
  • Install, remove, and modify slot machines and related equipment as directed, including full preparation of slot machines for play.
  • Generate computer reports relating to slot performance and maintenance, as required.
  • Assist with guest service problems and inquiries.

  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s/Technical Degree in a technical or related field preferred; 1‑2 years of experience in a technical or computer related field or prior experience with slot machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
  • Must have the ability to write reports.
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge; competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must qualify for any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
