Job summary

Graton Resort & Casino is seeking a Slot Technical Supervisor to oversee the Technical Team responsible for maintaining all slot equipment and related technology, including supporting new game installations and player tracking hardware as needed.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with internal controls and OSHA safety standards, and maintaining slot databases while coordinating training and performance reviews in alignment with events and promotions on property.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance of all slot equipment and technology, and participate in new game installations.
• Supervise slot installations/removals/relocations; support major projects; perform Slot Technician duties when needed.
• Supervise programming projects for hardware, firmware and software upgrades related to slot devices and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal control measures set by the Graton Gaming Commission and local standards.
• Maintain the Slot Database in Acres and keep slot equipment records up to date.
• Supervise maintenance of Slot Department hard files for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of video and slot machines; possess solid computer skills.
• Understand Player Tracking System and progressive systems used on the floor.
• Coordinate storage and maintenance of equipment; supervise department facilities and storage areas; maintain related documentation.
• Conduct corrective counseling for Slot Utility Technicians and train new Technicians; participate in evaluations.
• Ensure OSHA safety regulations are followed; monitor practices to provide a safe work environment for technicians and guests.
• Stay aware of upcoming events and promotions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the Technical Team in their daily maintenance duties, including the upkeep of all slot equipment and technology. This role also involves actively participating in new game installations, system game setups, and player tracking hardware installations when required. Additionally, this position entails supervising and facilitating the training of the technical team in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs for the mentioned systems.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
• Supervise all slot installations, slot removals, slot relocations, and slot conversions on the slot floor. Participate in major projects when regular labor force is inadequate and perform job functions of the Slot Technician when necessary.
• Supervise all programming projects, including, but not limited to hardware, firmware and software upgrades and program modifications, as well as all projects associated with slot gaming devices and the slot accounting and Player Tracking System.
• Ensure strict compliance with current Internal Control Measures set forth by the Graton Gaming Commission and the Company, as well as local Internal Control Measures as evaluated by the Property Level Internal Auditor.
• Maintain the Slot Database in Acres regarding changes, conversions, and updates.
• Supervise the maintenance of the Slot Department machine hard files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of video and slot machines.
• Good working knowledge of computer functions.
• Thorough working knowledge of Player Tracking System and progressive systems.
• Execute storage and maintenance of all equipment, parts, and supplies in the possession of and used by the Slot Technical Department. Coordinate and supervise maintenance of the Slot Technical Department physical plant and slot related storage areas. Maintain a database of all slot equipment and related information.
• Conduct initial corrective counseling actions for Slot Utility Technicians and maintain applicable and appropriate documentation of such actions. Conduct Slot Technician orientation for new Technicians and training for appropriate Team Members as required. Participate with Management in Team Member job performance evaluations and reviews as appropriate.
• Maintain familiarity with and ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and closely monitor Slot Technician activities and practices as a means of providing a safe work environment for Technicians, Guests and Team Members. Ensure that all Slot Technicians are trained, updated about, and properly follow safety procedures.
