Job summary

Golden Nugget Lake Charles is seeking a Slot Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the Slot Department and exceptional guest service for casino patrons.

Under the Director of Slot Operations, you will supervise multiple positions, uphold regulatory requirements, and drive performance on the gaming floor while maintaining a secure and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Hospitality or related field is required.
• Seven years of Slot Operations experience in a large casino is required.
• Three years of Slot Management experience (Shift Supervisor or above) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated successful performance in a Slot leadership role with strong guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and company policies.
• Deliver courteous, professional guest service to all guests, visitors and staff.
• Maintain casino floor layouts to improve machine productivity and performance.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Slot Operations, the incumbent assists in ensuring the operational success of the Slot Department and outstanding guest service is provided to all casino patrons.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns or observations.
• Offer the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of guest enjoyment and return play.
• Continually review and evaluate casino test and refine floor layouts to improve machine productivity and performance on the floor.
• Responsible for Slot Department compliance with MICS and Federal Currency Reporting Requirements.
• Ensure procedures protect the integrity and security of the company, employee and guests.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff.
• Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Recruit, select, train, coach, counsel, recognize and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service.
• Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Associate Degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of Slot Operations of related gaming experience in a large (1,500 plus slot devices) casino.
• Three (3) years of Slot Management experience (Shift Supervisor or above), or the equivalent combination or education and experience.
• Demonstrated successful performance in a Slot leadership role, as evidenced by superior slot operational results and exemplary guest satisfaction feedback.
