Job summary

Verterra Development seeks a Slot Floor Attendant to support day-to-day non-technical operations of the slot floor in the assigned area. You will assist guests promptly and courteously and operate slot machines transactions with professionalism.

Responsibilities include handling handheld devices, maintaining a bank for changes, assisting guests with machine rules, keeping areas clean, and upholding attendance and regulatory standards. A gaming license is required; tribal preference applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs slot machine transactions.
• Operates handheld commination device.
• Maintains an imprested bank to make change for quests on casino floor.
• Acts as a Casino floor host, assisting customers and explaining machines and rules, when appropriate.
• Helps clean slot areas and machines in their assigned section.
• Maintains quality level of customer service at all times.
• Must meet performance standards according to IMGR&C Attendance Policy.
• Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure.
