Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking an experienced SLM/PLM consultant for the DxP Services team across the United States. You will lead one or more work streams, plan tasks, review deliverables, and provide governance reports while advancing the extended SLM solution and enterprise architecture.

The role requires 9+ years in PTC SLM/SPI/ACD implementations, data migration experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 9+ years’ experience in PTC SLM, SPI, ACD implementation projects.
• Strong SLM implementation knowledge and data model understanding (3–5 years).
• Knowledge of S1000D a plus.
• SLM solution designing.
• Familiar with data migration.
• Experience in SLM integration.

Responsibilities

• You will plan work streams and assign tasks to project members.
• You will review work stream deliverables to ensure that they are accurate and meet the defined quality.

• You will represent teams in project governance activities: Provide risk assessment information and recommendations.
• You will lead the analysis, design, implementation, validation and/or deployment of the extended SLM solution, leveraging best practices.
• You will lead the agile development and maintenance of client roadmaps and help the client in managing the enterprise architecture.

DxP Services, the new business unit of ITC Infotech deepens the 20-year strategic alliance between ITC Infotech and PTC. It will create unique value by leading the adoption of Digital Thread and NextGen SaaS for the Industrial segment. DxP Services will focus on accelerating customer adoption of PTC’s industryleading Windchill and Windchill+ product lifecycle management (PLM) software in the cloud, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). DxP Services and PTC will jointly create the tooling and methodologies required to accelerate adoption of SaaS for the PTC Windchill ecosystem, along with the best practices and other assets of both ITC Infotech and PTC.

Knowledge and Abilities

• Assigns project tasks, including installing and configuring PTC software, customization, GUI development, testing, debugging, and deployment support to project team members.
• Provides input into the future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards
• Reviews teamwork work products to ensure that they are accurate, consistent and meet clients' requirements
• Knowledge of authoring of documents using Arbortext Editor, illustration capabilities using Creo Illustrator/ISODraw, etc.
• Familiar with Content structuring, Use of DITA and other document standards, stylesheet configurations, etc.
• Concepts of eBOM to sBOM transformation, maintenance of Document Structures, etc. in SP&I (Service Parts & Information).
• Translation Mgmt. Design & related process.
• Creation of Publishing Package, use of APE (Arbortext Publishing Engine) to publish content package, to Delivery Portal (In case of PTC, it will be ACD – Arborthext Content Delivery), Configuration of Publishing engine (configuration of worker & publishing rules).
• Familiar with Capabilities of the Delivery Portal (ACD)
• Familiar with data migration – for example, conversion of data from legacy to Arbortext ( for example, from Framemaker/PDF/Word, etc. to new DITA compliant Arbortext format)
• Knowledge of quality processes and their implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of PTC Product suites

Must Have Skills

• Strong SLM Domain knowledge
• 9+ years’ experience in PTC SLM, SPI, ACD Implementation Projects.
• Strong SLM Implementation Knowledge and good understanding of Data Model (at least 3-5 years of SLM, SPI, ACD Customization experience)
• Knowledge of S1000D a plus
• SLM Solution Designing.
• Familiar with data migration
• Have SLM Integration Experience.

Work Location:

Remote within the U.S. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in a U.S. state where the company is authorized to employ staff.

The base salary range for this position is $141,470- $215,861 annually. Actual compensation will depend on factors including skills, experience, location, and business needs. In addition to base salary, this position would have comprehensive benefits & 401K with employer match.
