As a Principal PLM Architect, you will lead strategic engagements focused on the implementation and transformation of PLM systems, with a strong emphasis on PTC Windchill and Windchill+ SaaS environments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, guiding them through complex technical landscapes and ensuring successful delivery of PLM solutions aligned with business goals.
This role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, consulting, and solution architecture. You will collaborate across PTC’s ecosystem—including R&D, PLM Segment, SaaS BDMs, and implementation partners—to design, validate, and deploy scalable PLM architectures that meet enterprise needs.
PTC’s Customer Success (CS) Segment Hubs are specialized global teams of domain experts dedicated to accelerating customer outcomes and ensuring exceptional experiences throughout the entire lifecycle. Acting as a “best‑practice engine,” each Segment Hub drives innovation and continuous improvement by developing and scaling cutting‑edge best practices and partnering closely with PTC’s product segments to align go‑to‑market strategies with real‑world customer needs. These Hubs have a cross‑functional makeup (combining Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, and Customer Success Management roles) and split their focus between strategic initiatives and hands‑on field work – driving development of playbooks, methodologies, and training on one side, while on the other engaging directly with field teams as subject‑matter experts to support key sales opportunities, implementations, and adoption programs. They also serve as the voice of the field, feeding insights from customer engagements back into PTC’s product and service roadmaps to drive continuous improvement. Within this framework, the PLM Segment Hub – focused on PTC’s Product Lifecycle Management domain – leads the charge in championing PLM best practices globally. It equips our field teams and partners with the tools, knowledge, and mentorship needed to deliver world‑class PLM outcomes, and it engages directly on high‑impact customer projects to ensure value realization and success in every PLM deployment.
Joining the PLM Segment Hub means being part of an elite group at the forefront of transforming how companies adopt PLM solutions, working with some of PTC’s most experienced PLM experts and global partners to deliver transformative PLM solutions for industry‑leading clients. This is a high‑impact role with visibility across strategic initiatives and leadership teams. You will have a range of opportunities to shape and refine the technical landscape within the organization, and you will be working in a dynamic, innovative environment that encourages continuous learning, experimentation, and career advancement.
